28: And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you."
Over the last year a lot of things have been changing in my life. I'm now responsible for many more things that I didn't have to worry about before. I have a job, I'm a full time college student, there are bills to be paid and MANY, MANY decisions to make. Life is overwhelming and I often find myself asking God, What are you doing? Why is this so hard? Am I doing something wrong? I don't have the strength to carry on by myself and sometimes I feel like just giving up.
When I read the words, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" I felt God was sitting right beside me asking me the question. Do you believe? Suddenly the worries and stress wasn't so heavily weighing me down. My heart felt a peace that I can't describe, and I realized, God is always here for us, no situation is too much for him to handle. So when we are tired, and overwhelmed to the point of giving up all we have to do is believe that he can fix it and the blessings will be poured down on us!
I know I'm not the only one who reaches these points of despair in life. Sometimes we get so bogged down by the craziness of our lives that we forget to believe. "According to your faith let it be done to you" when we allow satin to convince us that a situation is too impossible, that there is no way to fix it, and that we are going to fail. Then yes that is exactly what will happen. However if we have faith that God is in Control, that in him all things are possible and that through his son we are conquerors, then we will win!
So don't give up! keep believing, have faith, and everything will fall into place.
Isaiah 40: 31
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Romans 8:37
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Blessing,
Sarah
